The small Bacardi office in Lisbon is on a fourth floor of a historical building situated by one of the most prominent avenues in the centre of the city. The scope includes a focal Bacardi bar that would also act as a reception, an open office area, a small espresso bar and various typical office rooms dedicated to the different brands within the Bacardi Lisbon portfolio.
The project has a strong emphasis on branding while an additional layer of interest has been created with references to the surrounding city, including the use of local materials and furniture pieces. Thus, the overall design language is colourful and bold yet bright and open with ample room for any future modifications. The latter was an important design driver and the various joinery pieces including privacy screens, display shelving and many acoustic wall solutions that can be rebranded and/or relocated if necessary, are contributing greatly towards the more future-proof outcome.
